Awarded a full scholarship for tennis, Dunya earned her B.A. in History with an emphasis on the American Colonial Era. After completing her degree, she played semi-professional tennis in Europe and coached women’s tennis at the University of Redlands. She went on to live in both Ukraine and the Republic of Georgia, teaching English and creating spaces for non-native English speakers to develop their language skills.
